Our admission process is designed to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and compliance with government regulations. From Upper Primary to Higher Secondary, we offer quality education that empowers students to thrive in their academic and personal pursuits.
Upper Primary Section
ADMISSION
Our Upper Primary Section fosters curiosity and a love for learning in a supportive environment. With a focus on foundational subjects and holistic development, we nurture young minds to build strong academic skills and social values. Admission is open to students who meet the eligibility criteria, ensuring a smooth transition into their academic journey.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Completed 10 years as on June 1st for admission to Standard V
- Transfer Certificate: Required for admission to Standard V and above
- Minimum attendance: 75% for admission to Standard X
Admission Procedure
- Application form (Form 3) signed by parent/guardian
- Certified extract from Register of Births or declaration from parent/guardian
- Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
Documents Required
- Birth Certificate
- Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
- Mark sheet of previous examination (if applicable)
- Certificate of caste/community (if applicable)
Admission Schedule
- Summer vacation: Admission open
- Other times: Admission with sufficient reason
Fees
- As per the Kerala Government rules, no tuition fees are collected from students in government-aided schools.
High School
ADMISSION
The Higher Secondary (Plus Two) program at MASM School prepares students for future academic and professional challenges. With a wide range of streams and subjects, we aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for higher education and beyond. Our admission process, guided by government norms, ensures merit-based selection and opportunities for all eligible candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination for admission to Standard VIII or IX.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) is required for admission to any class above Standard VIII.
Admission Procedure
- Application Form: Obtain the application form from the respective school. The form must be signed by the parent or guardian.
Documents Required
- Birth Certificate or a certified extract from the Register of Births.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school.
- Mark sheet of the previous qualifying examination, if applicable.
- Certificate of caste/community, if applicable.
Admission Approval
- The school head (Headmaster/Principal) will review the application and documents.
- Admission is granted based on availability of seats and verification of eligibility.
Admission Schedule
- Admissions are generally conducted during the summer vacation.
- Applications may also be accepted at other times with valid reasons and approval from the school authorities.
Fees
As per Kerala Government rules, no tuition fees are collected in government or government-aided high schools.
Higher Secondary (Vocational)
ADMISSION
The Vocational Higher Secondary program at MASM School prepares students for future academic and professional challenges. With a wide range of streams and subjects, we aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for higher education and beyond. Our admission process, guided by government norms, ensures merit-based selection and opportunities for all eligible candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed the SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination are eligible for admission.
- Age: Completed 15 years as on June 1st.
Admission Procedure
- Online application through the Single Window Admission System (Ekajalakam) of the Kerala Government for merit seats.
- Filled-in online application along with required documents should be submitted through the Ekajalakam portal.
- Admission will be based on the merit list prepared by the Ekajalakam system.
- Selected candidates will be intimated through the Ekajalakam portal.
Management Seats
- Separate application form for management seats can be obtained from the school office.
- Filled-in application form along with required documents should be submitted to the school office.
- Admission to management seats will be based on the merit and eligibility criteria set by the school management.
