NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at MASMVHSS, Venmenad, established in 1999, focuses on fostering discipline and community service among its students. With 50 students selected annually as NSS volunteers, the unit undertakes various initiatives, including blood donation camps, eye care camps, food distribution (Pathayam project), supporting underprivileged communities (Sneharatham project), providing educational materials (Thelimaa project), promoting literacy (Akshara Thelimaa project), and renovating healthcare facilities. Notably, the unit was recognized as the Best Higher Secondary NSS Unit in Kerala in 2003-04.
Through innovative fundraising initiatives like the Scrap Challenge and Book Challenge, NSS volunteers actively participate in school events and community service, developing essential skills and social responsibility.

STUDENT POLICE CADET (SPC)
The Student Police Cadet (SPC) program at MASMVHSS, Venmenad, launched in 2012, has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, continuing to excel in 2024. Starting with 44 cadets, the program has successfully trained 572 cadets, fostering holistic development and community engagement through initiatives like anti-drug awareness programs, tree planting (Ente Maram), waste management, Free @ Home, SPC Against Addiction, Sheethal Literacy Camp, and One Care Challenge.
The program has achieved exemplary discipline, academic excellence, environmental stewardship, and community engagement, significantly contributing to improved student behavior, environmental awareness, community service, and leadership development. With its outstanding performance, the SPC unit has received accolades, reaffirming its commitment to shaping responsible, environmentally conscious, and socially active citizens, and has become an integral part of the school’s ecosystem, extending its impact beyond academic and extracurricular activities to discipline, environmental conservation, and social responsibility.

Bharat Scouts and Guides
Notably, students have received prestigious awards, including the Rashtrapati Award, recognizing eight students for exceptional service, and the Rajyapuraskar Award, honoring over 20 students for dedication. By fostering teamwork, discipline and social consciousness, The Bharat Scouts and Guides shapes responsible citizens, empowering them to make a positive impact. Little Kites (KITES)
Little Kites members don special uniforms on Wednesdays, participate in camps, and engage in sub-district, district, and state-level events, showcasing their skills in digital poster creation, video production and editing, digital magazine creation, cybersecurity, and expert sessions on IT-related topics. Notably, Little Kites members successfully recorded the Mullasserri Sub-District Kalolsavam events using DLSR cameras, earning recognition and awards from officials. This academic year, marking the school’s 60th anniversary, the HS section secured the overall grade in the Mullasserri Sub-District Science Fair’s IT category, thanks to Little Kites’ dedicated efforts, demonstrating the club’s significant impact on nurturing IT talent and achieving excellence.

Eco Club
Key initiatives include effective waste management and recycling programs, meticulous maintenance of green spaces and gardens, and organizing events that highlight environmental concerns. By instilling eco-conscious values, the Eco Club empowers students to become stewards of the environment, fostering a sustainable future through their active participation, creative ideas, and collective commitment to protecting our planet for generations to come.

Souhritha Club
Key programs include annual Souhritha Day celebrations and Higher and Safety Access initiatives, fostering a supportive ecosystem that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of students, empowering them to navigate adolescence with confidence and resilience, and ensuring a foundation for lifelong well-being.
